The Las Vegas location hosted its PPX Loyalty members and close to 300 guests for a Green Carpet Event in honor of Keep Memory Alive and Cleveland Clinic Center for Brain Health. The evening was hosted by GM Matt Griffith, Chef Luis Flores and Manager Joon Choi.
Vegas magazine Publisher Joe Vann and Editor-in-Chief Andrea Bennett welcomed their followers.
The highlight of the evening was the check presentation from funds generated during the 53rd Wine Week promotion. Larry Ruvo, the Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic Brain Center, Camille Ruvo, Chairman of Keep Memory Alive and Mike Severino, Southern Wine & Spirits and KMA Board were on hand to receive the $25,000 check. The funds will be used to help raise awareness and continue research for brain health.
President of Smith & Wollensky, Michael Feighery, announced the continuation of support through the holidays, with sales of the Private Reserve Wine 2-Pack on its online shop site.
Guests were treated to an impressive carving station serving up beef sliders with all the toppings. Butlered Hors D’oeuvres were served on “passed spoons”, a wonderful Truffled Mac & Cheese station had an assortment of toppings and S&W famous Steak Tartare served on Potato Crisps were highlights of the evening.
Guests sampled a selection of beverages provided by Southern Wine & Spirits and beverage partners. The featured American Harvest organic vodka cocktails included the American Sunshine, American Mule and Spiced Manhattan. Rodney Strong offered a rich Cabernet or crisp Sauvignon Blanc. And beer provided by Corona.
