Chicago's Smith & Wollensky presents Lancaster Winemaker Dinner
5 Courses Paired with 4 Wines on July 23, 2008

Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse in Chicago
announced today that it would offer a special
Dinner featuring Lancaster Estate Wines on July
23. This will be the sixth in a series of nine
events that comprise the Smith & Wollensky 2008
Pourings & Pairings wine dinner series. The
reception will start at 6: 30PM and the dinner
at 7PM. The price is $100 and includes tax and
gratuity. Guests can reserve online at

“We will present four great wines, paired with
four delicious courses, plus dessert,” stated
Patrick Norton, General Manager of Smith &Wollensky
in Chicago. “A spokesperson from the Lancaster
Winery will guide us through each pairing for a
menu that includes King Salmon Steak, Dry Aged
New York Sirloin Au Poivre and Blueberry Fool
Cream Cake Brulee. “
Chris Vyenielo, General Manager of Lancaster
Estate stated, “We are thrilled to partner with
Patrick and his team to offer his guests a very
memorable evening. The menu was carefully
created after tasting each of the wines to
present pairings that elevate each other to new
heights. We are proud to showcase our acclaimed
2004 Lancaster Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and
our Roth 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon which was just
awarded the Double Gold Medal at the San
Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.”
