Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group salutes sea and sun with the introduction of new Summer Menu Features at each of its eight locations. Available starting June 9th, summer specialties include a selection of fresh seafood, new and seasonal ingredients paired with the restaurant’s USDA Prime dry-aged steaks and frozen hurricane cocktails.

“It’s been a long winter and with the arrival of summer sun, we are celebrating with cool drinks, fresh ingredients and flavorful seafood flown in daily to each of our restaurants across the country,” said Kim Lapine, Vice President of Marketing. “This summer we want our customers to self-indulge, sample delectable dishes and allow our highly trained staff to cater to their every whim. Be a bit decadent—you deserve it!”

This twist on a classic summer preparation is served with Asian peanut slaw.  Other features include Lobster Mango Salad, Atlantic Swordfish Steak au Poivre and signature Shellfish Bouquet.

The Summer Menu Features are available in all locations, except for New York. The regular a la carte menu is always available in all markets.

An additional cause to celebrate is the late summer opening of a new Smith & Wollensky restaurant at Boston Properties’ prestigious new Atlantic Wharf, located at 290 Congress Street.  This second Boston location is located on the historic waterfront across from the Boston Children’s Museum, between the new Rose Kennedy Greenway and WharfWindowSign.jpgBoston Harbor. Plans include an outdoor bar on a waterfront patio, with seating up to 120. The focal point of the interior dining area is a raised bar with a full service raw oyster bar.

“Smith & Wollensky is eager to expand our presence in the Boston market with the addition of a second location, one that offers premium waterfront views and outdoor dining,” said Michael Feighery, President of Smith & Wollensky. “We can think of nothing better than enjoying one of our Summer Menu Features, while sipping a frozen cocktail or ice-cold Samuel Adams beer, overlooking the Boston Harbor.”

The original Boston Back Bay location – “the Castle” at 101 Arlington Street – will continue operations as usual. For unique private dining spaces and special event capabilities “the Castle” is a must-see.
