Smith & Wollensky Earns 2017 Wine Spectator Awards

Smith & Wollensky Among 3,592 Winners; Full 2017 Dining Guide Revealed in Wine Spectator’s August Issue
Boston, MA (July 12, 2017) — Smith & Wollensky restaurants have been honored for their outstanding wine programs in Wine Spectator’s 2017 Restaurant Awards. The restaurants are recognized among other winners from all over the globe as a top destination for wine lovers.

Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award—with 2,335; 1,168; and 89 winners this year in each respective category. Five of the Grand Award winners are first timers.
Smith & Wollensky has won the Best of Award of Excellence at locations in Boston Atlantic Wharf, Boston Back Bay, Chicago, Columbus, Houston, Miami Beach and New York City.
Best of Award of Excellence recipients offer more extensive selections with significant vintage depth and excellent breadth across multiple regions.
